About the project..

The Project aims to find new and innovative approaches for maths teaching for primary and middle school students whom at this age are curious, exploratory, interrogative and have a rich imagination.
Playing with Maths is an Erasmus Plus project which brings together 6 partners (Croatia, France 1, France 2, Greece, Portugal, Turkey)
We hope, through eTwinning, to share activities, ideas and games in order to learn from each other.

AIMS :

The aims of the project are to:
– Motivating teachers to enrich the methodological approach in the teaching-learning-assessment methods innovative learner-centered.
– Involve parents in project activities in order to achieve a lasting effect even after the project ends.
– Attracting representatives of social institutions to achieve project objectives and to disseminate the results of the project.
– Enhancing the use of new information and communication technologies by teachers and children alike.
– Promoting linguistic diversity in multilingual interaction between partner schools.
– enhance basic skills, share successfully used learning and teaching methods in Maths, exchange good practices
– motivate students and teachers to give better performance, to be more willing to learn and teach and at the same time to enjoy the learning process
– increase interest in Maths -prevent ESL at earlier ages
– discover and share new cultures, get information about other people, schools, educa

WORK PROCESS:

On Twinspace:
Students will log in and start by introducing themselves. Then, they will:
– share their favorite maths games,
– make mental calculation competitions
– make maths quizzes,
– share information about famous mathematicians in each country,
Every 2 months, a exchange of information on the forum

EXPECTED RESULTS

The aim is to use Twinspace as a tool to prepare for the Erasmus plus project Playing with Maths.
The aims of the project are :

English makes sense and it is a necessity for all EU citizens
