Geeek Culture Week in partner schools
We marked the Greek week in our school last week as part of the Erasmus project “PLAYING WITH MATHS”. The students learned about the Greek cultural heritage and got to know Xanthi – the host city for our students and colleagues.
Class teachers and students prepared a presentation of Greece through topics of their choice (food, cities, buildings, clothing, mythology, Olympiad, philosophy).
Subject teachers prepared teaching content on topics such as the Greek alphabet, and students created booklets, flags and quizzes about Greece.
Mathematics teachers conducted math games on the topic prescribed by the project “Maths and Nature”.
The students integrated the activities into the teaching of Art Culture, Physical and Health Culture and into the teaching of Nature and Society.
Lower grade teachers organized and conducted the Olympics.
